# Initiation Rules

This rule pertains to Combat Situations as it's **NEVER** acceptable to **"RDM"** someone. To ensure that you **DO NOT "RDM"** someone, initiation rules have been set for Combat Scenarios.

**FORMS OF INITIATION: 1)** Verbal Initiation 15 seconds+ **2)** Phone Call Initiation (Requires Proximity) **3)** On-going Situations (e.g. Shootouts) **4)** Self-Defence (e.g. Someone pulls a weapon on you)

To ensure that initiation is applied properly into role-play, you **MUST** make sure that your form of initiation is not cheap. As an example, you must hold **15 Seconds** of dialog before a violent role-play takes place. If you're making a phone-call to threaten someone, you **CANNOT** act on that threat unless you have **15 Seconds** of dialog when you meet the said person, make sure that there is voice proximity between yourself and the person that you are threatening, therefore initiating on.

**IMPROPER FORMS OF INITIATION 1)** An LEO puts on Lights and Sirens - **DO NOT** get out the vehicle without any verbal initiation and start shooting! - **EXAMPLE:** Make sure that they are aware if they don't stop chasing you'll shoot **2)** Subject A & Subject B see each other, both pull guns at same time and start shooting! - There is no verbal interaction between either subjects, therefore no initiation! - This would be an example of a Cheap-RP & Form of Initiation! **3)** Going up to someone and saying **"Who you with?!"** or **"What Gang you with!?"** - That would also be an example of poor initiation and cheap combat initiation 4) Bumping with a car is not initiation and does not count towards the 15 second rule
